Chronic Non-bacterial Osteitis
Objective
Developing an international registry for Chronic Non-bacterial Osteitis (CNO) in adults.
Summary
This study focuses on the rare condition of “chronic nonbacterial osteitis” (CNO) in adults. Little is known
about the cause of CNO, its disease course, and optimal treatments. To gain a better understanding of adult
CNO, there is a need for an international patient registry in which data is centrally collected. By the launch of
a condition-specific module (CSM), we aim to collect clinical, laboratory, radiological and treatment
information of adult CNO patients in different countries. Herewith, larger studies can be conducted that
address key research areas such as clinical presentation, diagnostics, prognosis, and optimal treatments.
Ultimately, the CSM could ultimately improve patient care and outcomes.
